The scumdogs of the universe brought their The Return Of Gor Gor Tour to town and it was nothing less than a spectical. The second the house lights dropped, the room turned into a warzone of color, gore effects, and heavy riffs. Atlanta crowds always show up ready to go hard, but this one felt extra charged. AFI took over The Masquerade’s Heaven room on October 17 and turned it into something unforgettable. Touring in support of their new album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun, released October 3 through Run For Cover Records, the band proved that time has not dulled their intensity one bit. Save Ferris made their long-overdue return to Atlanta on May 10, and their energy could’ve powered a small city.
