Live Review : The Struts + Dirty Honey @ The Masquerade, Atlanta - Aug 29th 2025

The Struts brought their Everybody Wants 10-year anniversary tour to The Masquerade’s Heaven stage on August 29, and Atlanta showed up big for it even though traffic was horrible due to it being Labor Day Weekend, Dragoncon, and just Atlanta. Heaven was shoulder-to-shoulder packed, and everyone was ready to go before the lights even went down. Dirty Honey kicked things off with a high-octane set that reminded everyone why they are one of the strongest straight-ahead rock bands out there.

Marc LaBelle’s gritty vocals, John Notto’s sharp guitar work, and a rhythm section that hits like a freight train had the room moving early. California Dreamin’, Heartbreaker, and When I’m Gone lit the place up and made sure the energy was already running high before The Struts came out. They also included a new song in the set, Too Good at Being Bad, that hits just as hard as the rest of their catalog.

When the headliners took the stage, it was clear this was more than just another tour. The Struts played Everybody Wants front to back, giving fans the rare chance to hear the album that first introduced them to the world in its entirety. Luke Spiller worked the crowd with his usual mix of charm and theater, making every song feel alive. At one point he shared a story about wanting to be a ballerina when he was a kid. Even though that dream did not happen, he laughed that in a way it did, because now he gets to dance across the stage every single night. Watching him spin, leap, and take command, it was impossible to disagree.

Hearing Could Have Been Me, Kiss This, and Put Your Money on Me side by side with deep cuts like Mary Go Round and Dirty Sexy Money showed just how strong that debut really is. The crowd belted out every lyric, turning the Heaven room into one massive sing-along. The encore of One Night Only and Pretty Vicious capped the night perfectly and proved that The Struts are still pushing forward while celebrating where they started.
