Weezer Announce The Gathering 2026 North American Tour with The Shins and Silversun Pickups

Weezer are back in a big way. The band just announced Weezer: The Gathering, a massive 32-city North American arena tour set to take over this fall, bringing along The Shins and Silversun Pickups for one of the most stacked alternative lineups of the year.
Kicking off September 8 in Sacramento and wrapping October 24 in Los Angeles, the run follows Weezer’s recent sold out Return to the Blue Planet tour and their stadium run on Hella Mega with Green Day and Fall Out Boy. If that tells you anything, it’s that Weezer are still operating at full scale and not slowing down.
The announcement also comes with new music on the way. The band will drop a brand new track, Shine Again, on April 1, marking the first taste of their upcoming album on Reprise/Warner Records. At the same time, their track Go Away is having a major viral moment again, pulling in around a million streams a day and climbing global charts.
Before the tour even begins, Weezer are turning their hometown into an experience with The Gathering Initiation Week in Los Angeles. From trivia nights to fan events and even a pickleball tournament with the band, it’s clear they’re leaning into the community side of their fanbase in a big way.
Tickets will be in high demand. Pre-sales begin March 31, with general on-sale starting April 3 at 10AM local time via Weezer.com. With this lineup and the scale of venues, this one is going to move fast.
Atlanta gets its stop on October 10 at State Farm Arena, making this an easy lock for one of the biggest shows of the fall here.
