Live Review: HANABIE., Nekrogoblikon, Enterprise Earth @ Buckhead Theatre, Atlanta - March 24th 2026

This was not a lineup built to ease into anything. By the time the room filled out at Buckhead Theatre, it was already clear the night was going to move fast and stay there.

Buckhead Theatre continues to be one of the most reliable rooms in Atlanta for shows like this. It sits right in that sweet spot where production still feels big, but nothing gets lost. The floor stays tight, the balcony stays engaged, and when the energy builds, it moves through the entire room instead of staying stuck in one section. That mattered on a night like this.

Enterprise Earth opened with a solid, straightforward set that focused more on execution than flash. Early on, the crowd felt a little reserved, still settling in, but that shifted as the set went on. Once it became clear how tight the band was live, the room started to respond more naturally.

There was nothing overdone about it. Just a group of strong players locking in and gradually pulling the crowd with them.

Nekrogoblikon followed and immediately changed the tone. Where the opener stayed grounded, this set leaned into personality and unpredictability. Between songs, the band talked about their upcoming EP releasing April 17th and mentioned fans could grab a signed CD at the merch booth, followed by a joke about having to find a CD player somewhere, maybe even a RadioShack.

It landed exactly how it should have.

They also pointed out this was their first time playing Buckhead Theatre, noting they usually perform at The Masquerade, and told the crowd to make the pit feel like it does there. From that point on, the floor noticeably picked up, and the energy felt more active.

By the time HANABIE. (pronounced HA_NA_BIE) took the stage, the room was ready, and they pushed it further.

HANABIE. brings a different kind of energy as a Japanese harajuku-core band, blending metalcore with chaotic pop elements in a way that should not work as well as it does. The contrast is constant, but it never feels random, and that is what makes it hit live.

What stands out immediately is the contrast. Small, almost playful in presence, but they control the room like Godzilla. Every shift, every cue, every burst of energy feels intentional, and the crowd follows it without hesitation.

At one point, they shouted out Buckhead Theatre for creating a custom “Spicy Queen Margarita,” a nod to their song “Spicy Queen,” calling it delicious before laughing about how strong it was. Moments like that gave the set a personal edge without slowing anything down.

They kept pushing the crowd throughout, asking if the floor could get even hotter, and each time the response came back louder. The pit stayed active, and the entire room stayed locked in.

HANABIE. closes out the night with full-stage energy and a crowd that stayed with them from start to finish.

What made this lineup work was how each band built on the last without overlapping. Enterprise Earth set a solid foundation, Nekrogoblikon brought personality and crowd interaction, and HANABIE. tied it all together with a performance that felt both chaotic and controlled.

For a three-band lineup, the pacing stayed consistent all night. No drop in energy, no reset between sets, just a steady build that carried through to the end.

It never felt like it was trying to figure itself out. It already knew exactly what it was. With plenty of dates still left on this tour, this is one worth catching if it comes through your city.
