On a hot Atlanta night at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, thousands of fans gathered for the God Is a Weapon Tour, a show that captured intensity, spectacle, and a mix of diverse sounds. With three openers building the atmosphere, the evening felt like a marathon of energy leading into Falling in Reverse’s explosive headlining set.

The night opened with Sleep Theory, a Memphis-based band blending alternative metal and hard rock with melodic hooks. Their polished delivery and soaring vocals made a strong impression, pulling in the early crowd and setting the tone for what was to come. Even in the sweltering heat, they connected well and showed why they are quickly gaining attention.

Tech N9ne followed, bringing his signature rapid-fire flow backed by a live band. His set added a completely different flavor to the night, blending rap with rock instrumentation that gave his performance a unique punch. While the style shift was unexpected for some, his energy was undeniable and he brought a seasoned confidence to the stage that kept the crowd engaged throughout.

The third act, Wage War, wasted no time in raising the intensity. With crushing riffs, growled vocals, and explosive breakdowns, they turned the pit into a frenzy. Their tight performance and raw heaviness stood out, leaving the crowd fully charged and ready for the headliner.

When Falling in Reverse finally took the stage, the amphitheatre erupted. As the big screens lit up, Ronnie Radke’s puppet introduced the band, and “Sweet Caroline” blasted through the speakers as their walk-out track. It was a tongue-in-cheek theatrical moment that got the crowd singing and laughing before the chaos began.
The band then launched into “Prequel” and “Zombified,” kicking the night into overdrive. From there, the setlist balanced longtime fan favorites with new material. “God Is a Weapon,” the tour’s namesake, landed with crushing riffs. “I’m Not a Vampire” and “The Drug in Me Is You” gave fans the nostalgia they craved, while “Voices in My Head” and “Watch the World Burn” pushed their sound into darker, heavier territory.
The puppet returned throughout the show to banter with the crowd and Ronnie, adding humor and unpredictability that fit the band’s larger-than-life presentation.
A standout moment came when the band played their new track “All My Women,” which carried a noticeable country twang live. The stylistic shift surprised the crowd but showed the group’s willingness to experiment in front of a massive audience.

Later in the set, Tech N9ne returned to the stage to join Radke for a crushing performance of “Ronald.” The collaboration sent the energy through the roof and stood out as one of the most unique moments of the night.
Other highlights included “Situations,” a callback to Radke’s Escape the Fate days that earned one of the loudest responses of the night. The mix of nostalgia, fresh material, and guest moments kept the set unpredictable and engaging from start to finish.
The production was relentless, with pyro, strobes, and visuals filling the amphitheatre. Radke kept full command of the stage with intensity and wit, never letting the energy dip. Even under the weight of the summer heat, the crowd gave everything back.
The closing stretch was massive. “Popular Monster” and “Watch the World Burn” had the pit at full force, and the finale, Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” turned the amphitheatre into a wall of voices. It was the perfect ending to a night that had it all: heavy riffs, variety, theatrics, and a frontman who knows how to keep people talking.
