CBGB Festival 2025 Brings Punk Back to Life in Brooklyn

September 21, 2025 — Under the K Bridge Park, Brooklyn, NY

New York’s iconic punk legacy is getting a high-voltage resurrection this fall. The CBGB Festival returns to NYC on September 21, 2025, with a once-in-a-generation lineup that celebrates both the raw roots and rebellious future of punk rock. Headliners Iggy Pop, the Sex Pistols, and Jack White are set to ignite the stage at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn — alongside a stacked roster that includes legends, cult favorites, and rising stars.

From Icons to Upstarts

The 2025 edition of the CBGB Festival dares to answer the question: “If CBGB were still around, who’d be playing there today?” That answer spans generations. Punk pioneers like Johnny Marr, The Damned, Marky Ramone, and Cro-Mags are joined by beloved 90s disruptors Lunachicks and Gorilla Biscuits. On the flip side, a wave of fresh blood — including Scowl, the Linda Lindas, Angel Du$t, Lambrini Girls, and Destroy Boys — will inject their own chaotic energy into the lineup.

It’s a brilliantly curated tribute to the genre’s roots and evolution, from snarling hardcore to glam-stained sleaze, riot grrrl defiance, and Gen Z angst.

A Festival with Grit and Heart

Set beneath the raw steel of Brooklyn’s Under the K Bridge Park, the one-day event will feature multiple stages, vintage merch booths, food vendors, and immersive experiences honoring the iconic Lower East Side club. Attendees can expect a sonic assault from noon to nightfall — blending old-school sweat and fury with the bright-eyed rage of a new era.

If you've ever wondered what punk looks like in 2025, this is your answer: multigenerational, diverse, inclusive, and loud as hell.
