Public Image Ltd Announce “This Is Not The Last Tour” North America Run for 2026-2027

Public Image Ltd are heading back out on the road with a statement that feels very on-brand. Titled “This Is Not The Last Tour,” the 2026-2027 North American run brings John Lydon and company across the U.S. and Canada for an extensive stretch that spans late summer into early spring.
If you’ve followed PiL at any point, you already know they’ve never really operated like a legacy act. While their roots trace back to the late 70s post-punk explosion, their live shows have continued to evolve, leaning into dub, experimental textures, and that unmistakable presence Lydon brings to the stage. It is not about recreating the past. It is about continuing it on their own terms.
The tour kicks off in September 2026 on the West Coast before moving through major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and New York. From there, it carries into early 2027 with another leg that hits Texas, Colorado, Florida, and a strong run through the Midwest and Southeast.
One standout for Atlanta is the October 8 stop at Variety Playhouse, a room that fits this kind of show perfectly. Intimate enough to feel intense, but big enough to hold a crowd that knows exactly what they are showing up for.
PiL have always thrived in that space between chaos and control, and this tour looks like another chance to see that balance play out live. It is not framed as a farewell, and honestly, it doesn’t feel like one either.
