Turnstile brought The Never Enough Tour to White Oak Music Hall (Houston) on October 15th for an unbelievably energetic night. The entire lawn was moving for every artist that played, as to be expected with a lineup like this one.

Jane Remover kicked off the show and prepared the crowd for the night of their life. As a fairly new artist on the alt-rap scene, Jane Remover has found quick success and been able to emerge with an actively growing fanbase.

Speed was the second act of the night, a hardcore band from Sydney, Australia, with a heart for music. The pit immediately erupted into two-stepping, hardcore dancing, and endless crowdsurfers. What sets this band apart from others in their scene is not only their animated live performances but also the unique instrumentals they incorporate. With frontman Jem Siow playing the flute on their song "The First Test" leading up to the breakdown, it is a jolting surprise to any new Speed fan.

Amyl & The Sniffers was a doozy, an angsty rock band that is a force to be reckoned with. Taking the stage just before Turnstile's set, the audience didn't hesitate to bounce along to each song. Frontwoman Amy Taylor instantly took charge and owned the stage; everything about her and the band was super distinct, from her makeup to their outfits. Her chaotic spirit lingered throughout the entire set, with punk rock anthems like "U Should Not Be Doing That" and "Jerkin'" keeping the angsty energy up despite being towards the end of their set. There was a clear passion that the band portrayed in their live set, and they definitely gained lots of new fans after playing that night.

When Turnstile took to the stage, the crowd was antsy. As one of the biggest hardcore bands at the moment, it was no shocker that not only their recordings but also their live shows were great enough to back that up. The stage was lit with blue lights just before the opening to "Never Enough" began. Fans were already moving like crazy, hungry for more of their favorite band since they arrived through the doors hours earlier.

As the show continued, Turnstile continued to connect with the crowd like never before. The band brought themselves closer to the audience while also bringing people closer together and allowing so many people to connect at once. With the energy flowing throughout, the group's versatile discography allowed for moments of mayhem to take a pause with more breathable songs from their records.

To close out their set, the band played their most recognizable song at the moment, which is "BIRDS" from their newest album, "NEVER ENOUGH." This track is known for the frenzy that occurs as it plays, endless crowdsurfers, and the biggest mosh pit of the night happened during this song. When the end of the night arrived, the emotions portrayed by everyone in that room continued to be present even after the band left the stage. Multiple members of the band came down to the barricade to hand roses to fans afterwards and show their genuine appreciation for what this new recognition has done for them.

Turnstile is set to finish off this tour strong, and one can only see a bright future for not even this group, but the comeback of hardcore in general.
