Live Review: The Devil Wears Prada + Four Year Strong + Split Chain + I Promised The World @ The Masquerade, Atlanta - April 11th, 2026

The Heaven room at The Masquerade filled in quickly on April 11 as The Devil Wears Prada brought the Flowers Tour through Atlanta. The floor tightened up early, the crowd was engaged before the lights even dropped, and the energy carried from the first band all the way through the encore.
I Promised The World opened with zero hesitation. Instead of easing into the night, they came out aggressive and locked in, leaning into that metalcore and post-hardcore mix of sharp riffs, heavy vocals, and melodic breaks. It hit immediately. People were moving early, and the crowd wasn’t just waiting for later sets.

Split Chain followed and shifted the tone without losing energy. Their sound brought in more texture, blending heavier elements with a hazy, layered feel that still lands hard live. The low end filled the room, and the pit started to take shape as things continued to build.

Then Four Year Strong stepped in and took it to another level. Their set felt explosive from the start. Fast, melodic, and built for crowd interaction. Singalongs spread across the room, the pit opened up wider, and the entire crowd locked in together. This was the moment where everything really clicked.

When The Devil Wears Prada hit the stage, everything tightened up. Touring behind Flowers, the set felt structured and intentional, moving between heavier moments and more emotional sections without losing momentum. They opened with “Where the Flowers Never Grow,” immediately setting the tone.
Tracks like “Watchtower,” “Salt” with the slowed intro, and “Broken” carried the emotional weight of the set, while “Ritual” with its drum intro and “Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over” kept the intensity high. That balance between melody and aggression is what Prada does best, and it translated perfectly live.

One of the most impactful moments came during “Danger: Wildman,” dedicated to Daniel Williams and Dave Shapiro. The room shifted. It was not just energy anymore, it carried weight, and the crowd responded in a real way.
There were also some noticeable issues throughout the set. Mic problems during “Dez Moines” and sound inconsistencies across parts of the night stood out, but the band never let it slow things down. They pushed through it without breaking momentum, and the crowd stayed with them the entire time.
Later in the set, “Chemical” and “Sacrifice” brought everything back together before the encore, keeping that balance intact.
The encore closed it out exactly how it needed to.
“Play The Old Shit,” “Assistant to the Regional Manager,” and “Hey John, What’s Your Name Again?” turned the room into chaos. Wall to wall movement, every word screamed back, and a final release of energy that felt earned.
Heaven continues to be one of the best rooms in Atlanta for a show like this. It is tight, loud, and there is no separation between the band and the crowd. That connection carried the entire night.
